Entuity Shifts Network Management Focus

The vendor announced a new release of its network management system, Eye of the Storm Enterprise 2010. The product features a Services Model so administrators can monitor and manage how well their networks are serving business needs, such as making sure an application is available, rather than reporting on the status of individual IT components. The product’s Network Delivery Perspective displays pertinent details of services, applications, servers, infrastructure, and WAN link availability across the environment.

Eye of the Storm Enterprise 2010’s Dynamic Threshold function provides insight into abnormal operations, so companies can more effectively minimize performance anomalies. Dynamic Thresholds send alert only whenever there is a violation of the baseline performance metric, so companies can proactively manage network problems.

The network management system’s reporting capabilities help IT administrators synthesize a range of network operational and performance data. Nearly 20 new reports have been added to the product’s report bundle, so there are more than 100 in total. Reports can be automated to run at scheduled intervals and be automatically delivered in a range of formats.
In today’s highly connection state, effective network management has become key to business continuity. Entuity has delivered a solid network management system, one used by many companies. While many vendors have struggled during the economic downturn, the company has experienced sales growth of more than 20%. The new features are designed to maintain that momentum.
